Walking thru a Spanish Town

During my recent visit to Spain, I had the opportunity to walk through a Spanish town.

The houses are traditional and tend to stay within the same family for generations.

Spanish people are very proud of their houses and every morning you will see women cleaning their door steps and pavement outside their house.

As you can see the roads are really narrow and the streets are very clean

Many houses keep their front doors slightly ajar,

which indicates they are home and ready for guests

The houses all have shutters, which are kept shut to keep the sun out and the warm in.

Driving through the streets is really tricky,

especially when you are used to driving on the other side of the road!

Spanish post boxes are bright yellow

Many houses are tile fronted with dark wooden doors, this is a typical Spanish style
