It's not snowing here right now, but that's not unusual for the Seattle area. However, that wasn't the case a couple of weeks ago - we had snow in November, which is quite odd for this area.
Definitely expect snow at that time, esp. in the higher elevations. Bring a good map and compass, extra warm/thermal clothes and shoes, flares and chains and high carb foods in case of emergency. Depending on where you'll be, temps can drop to below 0 easily. Remember to call your destination when you leave and if possible, along the way, in case you don't reach there at an appropriate time so they can send out the troops.
I left for work pretty early this morning, to be sure of making an important appointment… the snow was mostly virgin, and still balanced on the telephone lines overhead.
