Without Trust - A Poem

Without trust we truly have nothing,

Because without trust,
Love can not live and the love that did,
Will be killed by distrust.

Without trust we truly have nothing,
Because peace, will be conquered by fear
And fear can make us do the things that live in the dark places in your soul

Without trust there can not be faith
Because without faith who can we believe in without evidence?
Trust is one of life's most precious things once it has been lost, its very hard to regain it.

Look after the ones who trust you
be mindful of your words and deeds
as they may sow in the seeds of distrust,
which may undermine your good deeds of the future.

  7. Very deep, moving, philosophical. Trust is a delicate thread woven into many levels of humanity. Without it, we simply cannot exist. Some take advantage of this gift, breaking the bond. It is a seed which must be cultivated with care to ensure its strength. This poem is something that will keep me pondering. Profound.
