On the 5th June, I am taking part in a charity walk called “Walk for Life” in aid of Crusaid. Crusaid provides information and support on the issues of HIV and Aids both in the UK and overseas.Since 1989, the Walk has raised millions of pounds in support of the various initiatives run by Crusaid, both in the UK and overseas, particularly Africa, where the rate of infections remain disproportionately high. In the UK, Crusaid has funded many projects and services crucial to the ongoing support for literally thousands of people affected by HIV and AIDS, including the unique Hardship Fund, which provides a financial lifeline for those living with the virus in extreme poverty.
