Fighting For Your Something You believe In.

It seem that every other day, people somewhere is protesting for change. From the Middle East, USA (tea parties) and across the world, people are demanding change. At the present moment Libya is fighting for change and the Libyans within the UK where demonstrating near where I work and I was able to take this picture. The picture above is showing supporters for the current regime, supporters for change were right of the picture (not seen).

This post is all those people fighting for what they believe in and their efforts to affect change through peaceful and transparent means.

Protect in Parliament Square

Democracy and the right to protest goes hand in hand. The right to protest goes to heart of democracy and in the home of the modern democracy you can see a range of people protesting on a range of issues. The above protestor is highlighting the troubles in Sri Lanka.

G20 - Eco Logical Crime in Progress?

The Group of Twenty (G-20) Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was established in 1999 to bring together systemically important industrialized and developing economies to discuss key issues in the global economy. The inaugural meeting of the G-20 took place in Berlin, on December 1516, 1999, hosted by German and Canadian finance ministers.The G20 is happening in London at present with the world leaders of the top 20 industrial countries in the world. President Obama arrived yesterday and is the name on most peoples lips.

However whilst the world leaders are discussing how to solve the world economic problems, there are people who feel the need to protest at the very leaders who helped the world get us into this mess.


I noticed this display of protest while crossing Trafalgar Square on the way home and took a picture of it.


Lets hope that our leaders find a way to work together and resolve the current issues.
